BigHat’s co-founder and CSO, Peyton Greenside, gave her invited talk, Combining Active Learning with a Rapid Synthetic Biology Platform to Design and Optimize Therapeutic Antibodies, at the Antibody Engineering & Therapeutics Conference in Amsterdam, Netherlands, on June 08, 2023. In this talk, Peyton reviewed how BigHat’s platform, Milliner™ uses machine learning and synthetic biology to design safer, more effective antibody therapies. She discussed how we synthesize and characterize nearly a thousand antibodies each week using wet-lab automation, cell-free protein synthesis, and our custom-built LIMS Reccy. Finally, she shared several case studies of engineering therapeutic antibodies with Milliner™.
