Sr. Scientist I, CFPS Development
Wei is a biologics process development scientist with significant industry experience in upstream, downstream, and analytical development. He completed his BS at Massachusetts Institute of Technology and received his PhD from Stanford University. His PhD work focused on using cell free protein synthesis (CFPS) to produce bio-conjugates as therapeutic cancer vaccines. Prior to joining BigHat, he was a Principal Scientist at Resilience, where he led downstream development efforts for a variety of molecules, including antibodies, peptides, enzymes, and plasmid DNA.
