Rima Sanyal

Rima is an immunologist with expertise in T cell biology, biochemistry, and CAR-T therapy manufacturing. Before joining BigHat, she contributed to the discovery and deorphanization of T cell receptors at Adaptive Biotechnologies, advancing diagnostics and therapeutics for cancer and autoimmune diseases. At Kite, a Gilead Company, Rima worked on the clinical and commercial manufacturing of CAR-T products, including Yescarta and Tecartus. She also implemented process improvements through Quality System management in her role as a Cell Therapy Specialist. Rima earned a B.S. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Chapman University.
