Marcus Rohovie

Marcus is a protein engineer with extensive experience in directed evolution. He earned his Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from Stanford University and holds a B.S. from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, also in Chemical Engineering. Prior to joining BigHat, Marcus was a Senior Scientist leading protein evolution projects at Codexis, including capsid engineering to improve CNS transduction of AAV9, and directed evolution of clotting cofactor activity for the treatment of hemophilia A.
