Barbara Steurer
Scientist II, Target Biology
Cell and molecular biologist with a genuine curiosity for biomedical innovation and human health. Barbara has a BSc in Chemistry (University of Innsbruck, Austria) and earned her MSc in Molecular Medicine and her PhD in Biomedical Sciences from the Erasmus University Rotterdam, The Netherlands. During her postdoc work, Barbara investigated molecular genetics contributions to human aging, and studied human genetic variation in solute carrier membrane transporters. She joins us from Insilico Medicine, where she contributed to pre-clinical evaluation of small molecule oncology targets.
